October is the NBCF's Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

Every October, Breast Cancer Awareness Month serves as a vital reminder of the importance of education and raising awareness on the devastating effects breast cancer has on thousands of people each day. Breast cancer impacts millions of lives every year, not just patients, but also their families, friends, colleagues, and communities. In Australia, it remains the second most commonly diagnosed cancer, with 58 people diagnosed and 9 lives lost every single day.
