Personal information about visitors to our site is collected only when knowingly and voluntarily submitted. For example, we may need to collect such information to provide you with further services or to answer or forward any requests or enquiries. It is our intention that this policy will protect your personal information from being dealt with in any way that is inconsistent with applicable privacy laws in Australia. We do not sell or offer your personal information to any 3rd party.

We strive to ensure the security, integrity and privacy of personal information submitted to our site, and we review and update our security measures in light of current technologies. Unfortunately, no data transmission over the Internet can be guaranteed to be totally secure.
However, we will endeavour to take all reasonable steps to protect the personal information you may transmit to us or from our online products and services. Once we do receive your transmission, we will also make our best efforts to ensure its security on our systems.
In addition, our employees and the contractors who provide services related to our information systems are obliged to respect the confidentiality of any personal information held by us. However, we will not be held responsible for events arising from unauthorised access to your personal information.
Feedback / Questions
In the event a product is listed with an incorrect image, an incorrect price due to typographical error or error in pricing information received from our suppliers, C&L Tool Centre shall have the right to refuse or cancel any orders placed for product listed incorrectly. C&L Tool Centre shall have the right to refuse or cancel any such orders whether or not the order has been confirmed and payment has been processed. If payment has been taken for the purchase and your order is canceled, C&L Tool Centre shall immediately issue a refund back to your account.
If for whatever reason you are unsatisfied with products that have been supplied to you, you may return the goods to us within 7 days of you receiving the order for a full refund EXCLUDING the freight. For goods delivered with free shipping, the cost of freight will be deducted from the refund.
All goods must be returned in original packaging, unused and include the following details:
- Invoice number
- Invoice date
- Reason for return
- Your contact information
We reserve the right to refuse a credit on goods if we believe the goods have been damaged or used, therefore a credit will only be issued to you once goods have passed our inspection.
Return freight costs will be covered by the customer.
All sales made via this website require payment to be made before dispatch of goods.

Orders that are under 20kg & under 1m in length within Australia will be sent via Australia Post or Fastway Couriers. Orders that are over 20kg & over 1m in length within Australia will be sent via our nominated freight company. We will email you and send you the text message with the courier details and tracking information.
If there are any unexpected variations to your order we will email you to accept the changes. For your order to be processed and dispatched we will need you to respond to our email with “confirmation please proceed”. We will NOT dispatch goods without your emailed confirmation to acknowledge the amended freight cost and order total. If you wish to cancel your order, respond with “please cancel order” and we will arrange the credit and cancellation, no questions asked!

Oversize & Overnight
Please Note: If one of your item's weight is 25kgs or above, you will need to provide assistance with unloading. If assistance is not available, you will need to book a truck with a Hydraulic Tailgate for the receiving addresses. Click to add a Hydraulic Tailgate Service.
Please note: Overnight Shipping only applies to non-free-shipping products. C&L will choose a shipping method for Free Shipping products.
All products that are in stock will be dispatched 1-2 business days. Allow between 4-8 working days from dispatch date for delivery depending on your delivery address & if products are in stock. If we need to order stock in from a supplier it may take between 4-8 days to arrive in our store. We will advise if products are on back order and you can have the choice to keep or cancel your order.
We do our best to ensure your order is delivered on time and in perfect condition, however, once the goods leave our distribution centre we are unable to take responsibility for damages that occur during transit. We also are unable to take responsibility for extended delivery times due to unforeseen circumstances.
All free shipping orders over C&L Web store will only apply to the customers within Australian shoreline, not including Tasmania, Norfolk Island, other islands and rural areas. Freight charge will be applied to these areas. We will contact you for the actual freight for your order.
Dangerous goods, oversize items and overweight items are not eligible for the Free Shipping Promotion. Extra postage will be applied for those products. More free shipping information please see our Delivery Information.
C&L Delivery Insurance:
C & L Tool Centre does not include Shipping insurance as part of any goods purchased, this will need to be added separately in Shopping Cart Page to protect your goods from loss or damage while in transit.
By choosing not to ensure your package you understand that C & L Tool Centre is not responsible for any loss or damage to the package or its contents incurred during shipping.
Some remote area and islands may have different Delivery Insurance Rates, please contact us on firstname.lastname@example.org or (07) 3326 1555 to purchase insurance.
**NO C.O.D ORDERS**
- Courier deliveries will only be made to fixed addresses.
- Goods that are left at unattended premises are the responsibility of the receiver.
- Please ensure we are aware of any special delivery requirements.
- Large items ( goods over 22Kg ) May require a Forklift unload or someone available at the time of delivery to assist with unloading large items. A Business address is preferred for large item delivery. If a forklift is unavailable for Heavy item delivery a Tailgate unload can be arranged with the carrier prior to shipping, however, a $75 fee applies to all Tailgate unload deliveries. Please contact our sales team if a Tailgate unload is required.
- Re-Delivery Charges are not accepted by C&L Tool Centre. If you are not available at the time of delivery and request re-delivery from the carrier all charges will be the responsibility of the receiver.
- Please ensure all orders are addressed to premises that are maned between the hours of 9-5pm, and if no-one is available please Give Authority to leave Package in a safe place at the delivery address. This Authority can be noted in the "Add comments about your order" section in the checkout.
Australian Rural Locations:
As the rate can be varied in rural places, extra postage might be applied to the non-metropolitan areas above the base rate. Our staff will contact you for the correct freight before dispatch. Or if you are not sure what is the exact cost for the freight please contact us.
All Warranty claims can be dealt with at your closest authorised repair agent or dealer if you are located outside of the Brisbane area. A copy of your proof of purchase (Tax Invoice) will be required for all warranty claims to be honoured. If tools are to be returned to us for Warranty claims all freight charges between us and the end user will be at the expense of the purchaser.
If goods are faulty due to the manufacturing error, please contact us with your repair enquiry and someone will be in contact with you as soon as possible. Please be sure to have your proof of purchase handy because we will not be able to honour a claim without this.
